A PICTURE-PERFECT YEAR! . . .

Walk into any Long's Drug, or ABC store, or most any retail outlet on Oahu, and there you'll find calendars loaded with the scenery of Hawaii.

But if you're seeking a calendar with photography from our very-own Waianae Coast, then there's really only one purchasing option – 2018's Waianae Coast Rotary Club calendar – a fundraising vehicle where amateur photographers vie for a spot within its pages.

This year, the calendar's ninth, more than 130 entries were submitted, and four of those selected have an association with MVT: one from the Towers' head of maintenance, two from an MVT apartment owner, and a fourth from a Towers' visitor.

The calendar is sold at various locations throughout the Waianae Coast, including the office at Makaha Valley Towers, and at Makeke Waianae (the Waianae farmers' market) adjacent to Long's Drug Store in the Waianae Mall.

So, if you're seeking a photographic memento to mark the new year, searching for a keepsake from your seasonal vacation, or want a souvenir to offer friends and/or family, the Waianae Coast Rotary Club's annual calendar not only keeps it local, but helps raise funds for local keiki (kids).
