A DAY WITHOUT SUNSHINE . . .

In vast, gray sweeps of blanketing clouds and mists, Veterans' Day in Makaha Valley has been all about the precipitation.
Beginning about 9 a.m. and continuing through the afternoon, with fluctuations of cloud breaks and filtered sun, there have been downpours, showers, and mountain-hiding mists.
Precipitation-amount guesstimates put total rainfall, so far, at about three-quarters to one inch of wet stuff, with high temps only in the very low 70s.
The swimming-pool waters, however, hover in the mid-80s – very pleasant.
Happy Veterans' Day to our military folks who've served us all with your endeavors.
