WISPS OF CLOUDS & WATERFALLS . . .
For two days now, a storm system stretching from the Gulf of Alaska south past the Hawaiian Islands, has socked the 50th state with cloud cover and plentiful precipitation: finally, a weather front with just the right timing and enough potency to cause cascading rivulets of water to percolate down the mountainsides behind MVT during daylight.
It's the first time in about two years conditions have been right to see this happen.
With the multitude of waterfalls, aerosol-like cloud wisps billowing in from the Pacific, and an ethereal overcast extending down to the deck of the Towers' upper parking lots, a “middle-earth” scenario had Makaha Valley reimagined as Jurassic Park, or at least Terra-formed into an imitation of Oahu's windward side.
