AN OFT BYPASSED BEAUTY . . .

Sandwiched between the more popularly visited Makaha Surfing Beach and Keawa'ula Beach Park (also known as Yokohama Bay), Kea'au Beach Park is a quiet, grassy, picnic pull off with plenty of parking, at the bend where Farrington Hwy. turns away from Makaha and heads onward towards Ka'ena Pt.

Perhaps it's because there's no sandy beach at Kea'au that it's often overlooked.

Well, perhaps it'll get a second glance after this flight-seeing excursion:
