A GOAT TALE . . .

Kids, billies and nannies.

We hear them bleating high on the ridge-lines behind Makaha Valley Towers.

Introduced by European travelers in centuries past, conservationists consider them an invasive species, and, in fact, they trample native plants and destabilize volcanic slopes.

They are, however, just so darn cute.

Here's the story of one kid rescued nearby from the slopes of the Waianae Mountains:
